rough guides recommended

without doubt, the nazca lines are one of the most different and enigmatic sights in Peru. Well worth a couple of days travel by bus to get there! (Even though you fly over the "Lines" Nazca is not generally accessible by plane)

two day nazca tour, including lima airport pickup

Day One: Depending on flight arrival time, airport pickup in Lima by English speaking representative and transfer to public bus for trip to Nazca (3 hours).

Depending on time, you can enjoy a visit to the Ballestas Islands near Pisco.

Accommodation: Nazca

Day Two: You will be collected from your hotel, where you will be transferred to the airport. First, you will see an information video about the Nazca lines, after which you will then board a small CESNA plane with capacity for 3 to 5 passengers. You will have a flight of between 35 and 45 minutes above the Nazca Lines accompanied by an experienced pilot who speaks both English and Spanish.

Afternoon
The city tour includes a visit to the Chauchilla cemetery where you will see the remains of mummies of the last members of the Nazca culture. Afterwards, we will head towards the artisan's workshops where we an artisan will make a ceramic.
