Observe women weaving they are keen to sell to western visitors their weavings and therefore are interested to hear what people do and don't like. you will be able to communicate this to the women via your Quechua speaking guide. Obviously the women would like to sell you a weaving - but you should not feel obliged. For more information please see www.threadsofperu.com

** This is a trek designed for those short of time, but a strong desire to get off the beaten track. There is a lot of travel and a lot of hiking for a relatively short amount of time at the village, and for not much interaction with the villagers.
For an overnight stay in the village, we recommend that you stay in the Chaullacocha Homestay.
